First Response emergency Care Requalification.

FREC 3 – 3 Day requalification 

FREC4 – CPD dependent. 

A mixture of face-to-face and online delivery.

READY FOR REQUALIFICATION?

Prehospital Care and Aid Worldwide offer Requalification for both First Response Emergency Care (FREC) 3 and 4. It’s important to consider that your original FREC3 qualification only remains valid for 3 years until a requalification is required. FREC4 Remains valid as long as yearly CPD is demonstrated and achieved. 

Requalifying is important to keep up to date with essential skills and ensures you are kept abreast with relevant prehospital changes and are fully compliant with insurance and legal components of prehospital responder provision.  

WHAT IS COVERED?

For FREC 3: 

  • Patient assessment
  • Trauma management
  • Manage catastrophic bleeding
  • Assess and manage patient’s airway
  • Administer emergency oxygen
  • Manage a patient with head and spinal injuries
  • Manage a patient with injuries to bones, muscles and joints
  • Adult Basic Life Support and AED training
  • Environmental emergencies
  • Minor illness and injury
  • Medical emergencies
  • Triage
  • Casualty evacuation
  • Scenario-based practical skills training interventions

FREC 4 

Once achieved this qualification is valid while the Learner maintains a CPD portfolio and has attended annual refresher training.

Requalification training includes the assessment and treatment of cardiorespiratory arrest and life-threatening injury/illness.

This requalification can include an Immediate Life Support qualification if desired.
